VBB overall network day ticket

 
VBB overall network day ticket

The VBB overall network day ticket is a new offer to our passengers. The ticket costs 19 EUR and enables a person to use all VBB public means of transport for a whole day within Berlin and Brandenburg. It is valid Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. until 3 a.m. the following day. On Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays*, the ticket is valid between 0 a.m. and 3 a.m. the following day. The daily ticket for the VBB overall network is non-transferable and not available at a reduced price.

* Please note that Reformation Day is a holiday in the federal state of Brandenburg only.

The CityTourCard is a special offer to Berlin visitors. As holder of the ticket you can either use any public means of transport for 48 or 72 hours within Berlin's tariff zones AB or ABC. As holder of a CityTourCard of Berlin ABC, one adult can take along up to 3 children between 6 and 14 years of age. A dog can be carried for free as well.

You also receive a leaflet with information about busses and railway in Berlin. It provides recommendations for sightseeing as well. Furthermore, the ticket gives you the opportunity to obtain reduced prices for more than 50 tourist attractions.

It is not possible to extend your CityTourCard Berlin AB with an extension ticket for Berlin's tariff zone C. If you are interested in an overview of all companies that provide discounts for holders of the CityTourCard Berlin, please click here.

Berlin WelcomeCards are valid for 48 hours or 72 hours and have to be validated before departure. You can make any trips within the tariff area AB or ABC of Berlin, respectively. The Berlin WelcomeCard ABC is valid for one adult and up to three children between 6 and 14 years of age.

Berlin WelcomeCards are not valid for special lines; e.g. cruisers.
It is not possible to extend your Berlin WelcomeCard AB with an extension ticket for Berlin's tariff zone C.

The ticket offer is available until 31 December 2010.

A dog can be carried free of charge.

Brandenburg-Berlin-Ticket

 
Brandenburg-Berlin-Ticket

The Brandenburg-Berlin-Ticket is valid for:
- Up to 5 people or
- Parents/grandparents or one parent/grandparent with any own children/grandchildren who are up to and including 14 years of age.

The ticket is either valid for one day Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. until 3 a.m. the following day or on Saturdays, Sundays or a common holiday in Berlin and Brandenburg between 0 a.m. and 3 a.m. the following day. The ticket is valid for any VBB public means of transport (except for line 88 of Schöneicher-Rüdersdorfer Strassenbahn GmbH). Some selected tourist agencies provide discounts when submitting the Brandenburg-Berlin-Ticket.

Regarding the cruiser trains „Der Rheinsberger“, „Stettiner Haff“, and „Warnemünde-Express“, the Brandenburg-Berlin-ticket is already valid before 9 a.m. In addition, the ticket is also valid for some long-distance trains. For more details, click here.

The passenger needs to print his first name and surname on the ticket before departure. If travelling together with other people, the person covering the longest distance must fill in his name. That traveller is obliged to submit his photo ID if asked for by the service staff. If travelling as group, it is not permitted to exchange people or add someone else to the group after departure.

A resale of the ticket or giving the ticket to someone else for free after having used the ticket is prohibited as well.

The ticket offer is limited until 11 December 2010.

Brandenburg-Berlin-Ticket Night

The Brandenburg-Berlin-Ticket Night is valid analogue to the Brandenburg-Berlin-Ticket except for the following carriers:

· Südbrandenburger Nahverkehr GmbH (SBN)
· Verkehrsgesellschaft Prignitz mbH (VGP)
· Der Niederlausitzer
· Herz Reisen GmbH
· Omnibusverkehr Armin Glaser
· A. Reich GmbH und
· Omnibusbetrieb Wetzel

The ticket is valid from 6 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day and can be used by up to 5 persons or parents/grandparents or a parent or grandparent with any of their own children/grandchildren who are up to and including 14 years of age.

Regarding regional rail transport, the Brandenburg-Berlin Ticket Night is an economy class ticket and cannot be upgraded to 1st class.

The Brandenburg-Berlin-Tickets Night can be used within the VBB overall network and beyond the furthest station in Brandenburg on the following railway lines:

The ticket is valid for:
- Up to 5 people or

The ticket is valid Saturdays and Sundays from 0 a.m. until 3 a.m. the following day within the VBB overall network for the following carriers: S-Bahn Berlin GmbH, Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG), Verkehrsbetrieb Potsdam GmbH (ViP), Niederbarnimer Eisenbahn AG (NEB), Prignitzer Eisenbahn GmbH (PEG), Ostdeutschen Eisenbahn GmbH (ODEG), Ostseeland Verkehr GmbH. It is also allowed to use all suburban commuters (S, RE, RB, IRE) without spatial limitation; economy class is permitted only (The ticket cannot be upgraded to 1st class).
The ticket is also valid for tram and bus lines within the Polish town of Szczecin.
